Suzanne Jackson: What Is Love Opening-Day Talk
Event Details
Join artist Suzanne Jackson for a discussion of her new retrospective Suzanne Jackson: What Is Love with an artistic peer. Together, they will trace the evolution of her practice, from lyrical early figurative acrylic paintings to the abstract, materially experimental hanging acrylic works she has developed over the past two decades. They will also discuss the creative resonances between their practices, reflecting on shared questions of material, memory, and the long arc of a life in art. A moderated Q&A follows the talk. Come early to enjoy libations from a cash bar in the lobby.
This event requires a free ticket. Registration is available online. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Gallery admission is free on Thursday nights, 5–9 pm.
