Middle School Movie Club: Fall 2025
Event Details
Middle schoolers, bring your friends and family to the Walker for a free movie day this fall. Watch a specially selected movie on the Walker Cinema’s big screen, visit the galleries, and make your own art inspired by the film.
A screening of Little Women begins at 1 pm, with drop-in art-making offered from 12 noon to 4 pm. Registration is available online and limited walk-up tickets will be available on the event day. Cinema seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.
Caregivers and family are welcome to join activities or check out the galleries during the event. Friends and family of middle schoolers receive free admission and film tickets too.
Little Women, directed by Greta Gerwig
Join the March sisters as they navigate love, loss, sisterhood, and self-discovery in a vibrant retelling of Louisa May Alcott’s beloved novel. Already a classic for a new generation of fans, the film features a cast of favorites including Saoirse Ronan, Florence Pugh, and Timothée Chalamet. Recommended for ages 10 and up. 2019, US, DCP, in English, 134 min.
The film screening will have open captions.
Content note: The film includes brief alcohol and tobacco use and dramatic scenes, including a death, that may be distressing for young or sensitive viewers. Rated PG and recommended for ages 10 and up.
