The Walker Art Center will be free to all visitors on Saturday, May 9, for Doors Open Minneapolis.
Doors Open Minneapolis is a free citywide event that invites people to explore the buildings, spaces, and stories that shape the city’s identity. As part of this event, the Walker welcomes visitors to experience its galleries, architecture, and public spaces as a hub for contemporary art and creative exchange.
There are several parking options at the Walker. Limited paid parking is available in the City of Minneapolis Vineland Place ramp, which connects to the Walker. On-street metered parking is available around the Walker and the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden. Additional street parking and nearby public ramps are available in the surrounding Lowry Hill and Loring Park neighborhoods.

Personal photography is permitted throughout the Walker and the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden, but please turn off the flash when visiting the galleries.
