Join us for Art Club, a standing invitation to explore and create across our campus. Stop by the Art Lab for drop-in art-making with Walker educators. Every week is a chance to experiment with a new medium, idea, or muse.

For this art-making session, make herbal dream pillows filled with dried herbs. Choose from a variety of scents and create a handsewn pouch for aromatherapy in your pocket.

Activity instructions, available in English and Spanish, are designed for ages 4 and up. Materials are provided and distributed on a first-come, first-served basis; supplies are limited. No prior registration is required for Art Club—the more you visit, the more you’ll discover.

Open Stacks and Free Films

Stop in on Thursday nights for Open Stacks and explore books, journals, and artist files with help from expert librarians. Discover a new book, research your favorite artist, or just peruse the vast collection. The Walker’s library is open from 5 to 8 pm (no appointment necessary). The library is located directly behind the Art Lab. The Mediatheque is always free, streaming select films and movies from the Ruben-Bentson collection. Choose your own adventure with our interactive menu, or sit back and enjoy a curated playlist of films.
