Self-led group visits
Self-led group visits are available for groups of 10 or more.
Self-led group visits are available for groups of 10 or more who wish to experience the galleries at their own pace. This can be a good option for those who are familiar with the Walker’s collection and for school groups who are comfortable using our Resources for Learning. Resources include downloadable exhibition guides and lesson plans aligned with MN K–12 Academic Standards to aid in your or your students’ learning, both during and after your visit.
Reservations for self-led group visits to the Walker galleries must be scheduled at least one week in advance. Reservations are not required for self-led group visits to the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden.
Self-led school group visits to the Walker galleries are available for grades 6 and up, in groups of 75 or less. Self-led school group visits to the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden are available for students of all ages without group size restrictions. All K–12 group visits require one chaperone per every 10 students.
