Free tours

Free educator-led tours are available throughout the week and are included with gallery admission.

Led by experienced Walker educators, tour groups gain special insight into the Walker’s collections and current exhibitions. Tours are designed for adult audiences unless otherwise specified, though visitors of all ages are welcome. Reservations are not required for free tours.
Tours of galleries meet in the Main Lobby. Tours of the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden meet outside the main entrance on Vineland Place. Times and locations are subject to change or cancellation.

Gallery Tours

  • Thursdays, 6 pm (Sept-May)
  • Saturdays, 1 pm (Sep-May)
  • Sundays, 1 pm

Family Tours

Spanish Language Tours

  • First Saturday of the month at 3 pm
One public tour a month is ASL interpreted.
ASL interpretation will be provided on September 13, October 12, and November 13.
To request ASL interpretation, please email tours@walkerart.org or call 612-375-7609 two weeks in advance of your visit.
