The Walker Art Center and the Current present Rock the Garden, June 16, 2018 featuring Father John Misty, Members Only Presale December 13–15
Mark your calendar! Rock the Garden takes place on Saturday, June 16, at the Walker Art Center and Minneapolis Sculpture Garden featuring Father John Misty. In 2017, Father John Misty aka Josh Tillman released Pure Comedy, his third album under this nom de plume. Misty’s sardonic wit and unique instrumentation fuel a dark and delightful album that is topping numerous best-of lists for the year. His performance is not one to miss, where Jim Morrison gyrations meets 21st century social commentary. Come kick off the summer under the glow of the Minneapolis skyline with Misty’s clever and existential musings.
A members-only flash sale December 13-15 will be the only chance in 2017 to buy tickets for this iconic Minneapolis music event—which sold out last summer. The members-only presale opens December 13 at 10 am, and ends December 15 at 5 pm.
Buy tickets online at rockthegardenfestival.com. Special discounted prices for Walker and Minnesota Public Radio (MPR) members—$69 general admission and $300 VIP admission. Limit 8 tickets per membership, available online only.

ABOUT FATHER JOHN MISTY (J. TILLMAN)
Father John Misty is the brainchild of singer-songwriter Josh Tillman. Tillman has released three widely acclaimed albums -*- Fear Fun (2012), I Love You, Honeybear (2015) and his most recent release, Pure Comedy, his Grammy-nominated album (2017).
