Walker Art Center’s 10-Month Billboard Project Launches with Work by Yoko Ono

Yoko Ono launches the Walker Art Center’s Billboard Project with a design emblazoned with the simple yet profound words of timeless hope:

Imagine Peace

. The billboard, which will feature the work of five artists over a 10-month period, is located on Hennepin Avenue at 12th Street in downtown Minneapolis. Ono’s design will be on display March 15-May 14. The Billboard Project is presented as part of Walker without Walls, a year of programming spanning the Twin Cities made possible by generous support from Target.
