Walker Art Center Offers Experimental Film Class for High School Students

In conjunction with the six-week film series Expanding the Frame (screening at the Walker January 19–February 24), featuring a showcase of established and emerging directors breaking the boundaries of film and video, the Walker Art Center presents

Experimental Film Society

, a film class for high school students, on Tuesdays, January 16–February 20, 4–6 pm. Interact with other students interested in media, learn about experimental filmmakers’ working methods, gain access to the Walker’s film/video collection, see free films, and meet with visiting directors. Class fee includes tickets to screenings in the Expanding the Frame series. Scholarships are available. Space is limited to 20 participants. To register, call 612.375.7600.
