Drop Everything for Pick-Up Picasso, the Walker Art Center's Free First Saturday Event in September

Families can find inspiration for a day of fun from one of the masters at Pick-Up Picasso, the Walker Art Center’s Free First Saturday event from 10 am–3 pm Saturday, September 1. Featured events include an interactive improv experience with actors Kevin Gilbertson and Jill Bernard; a story reading of Scott Magoon’s Hugo and Miles in I’ve Painted Everything!; art lab activities to make a 3-D paper sculpture inspired by Picasso; a program of short films; and a gallery crawl in the Picasso and American Art galleries.

Activities are free and available on a first-come, first-served basis from
10 am–3 pm. Gallery admission is free from 10 am–5 pm on Free First Saturday.
