A Fab Time is in Store at the Walker Art Center's January Free First Saturday

Visitors can take part in constructing a day of fun at Pretty FABulous, the Walker Art Center’s Free First Saturday event from 10 am–5 pm Saturday, January 7. Featured events include a performance by the young acrobats from Circus Juventas; an art lab activity to construct a pre-fab home; a screening of the Buster Keaton comedy One Week; a reading of Nina Laden’s book Roberto the Insect Architect; and family tours of the galleries.

Activities are free and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Family Gallery Tour: Art of the Box

Explore ways that artists and architects use boxes to create artworks.

WAC-ky Tales: Roberto the Insect Architect by Nina Laden
