Community Partnerships

The Walker Art Center is proud to serve as a civic institution in the Twin Cities. We are sustained by the vibrant communities around us and seek to further contribute to them.

Listed by year, these partner organizations show the range of groups that have worked with us, bringing deep experience in arts, education, nonprofits, social justice work, and more.
By collaborating with local organizations, we work to:
  • Center audiences in the planning and presentation of programs to improve access and deepen engagement
  • Create meaningful experiences that support audiences and make the Walker a place of dynamic encounters with art and artists
  • Foster exchange and connection across our vibrant local communities
Contact Megan Leafblad at megan.leafblad@walkerart.org to learn more or if you are interested in collaborating with us. We understand that creating accessible programming starts with being open to the needs of community members. We’d be glad to begin a conversation with you and imagine what a collaboration could look like together.
