Community Engagement

The Walker Art Center is proud to serve as a civic institution in the Twin Cities. We are sustained by the vibrant communities around us and seek to further contribute to them.

The partner organizations we work with bring deep experience in arts, education, nonprofits, social justice work, and more.

By collaborating with local organizations, we work to:

  • Center audiences in the planning and presentation of programs to improve access and deepen engagement

  • Create meaningful experiences that support audiences and make the Walker a place of dynamic encounters with art and artists

  • Foster exchange and connection across our vibrant local communities

Interested in partnering? Contact Megan Leafblad at megan.leafblad@walkerart.org. We understand that accessible programming starts with the needs of community members and would love to explore what collaboration could look like.
