Poster Insights
Since 1986, the Walker has invited leading design thinkers to the Twin Cities for the annual Insights Design Lecture Series. For nearly 40 years, these designers have presented new ways of working, redefined their respective industries, and, in some cases, forged entirely new futures for design.
As part of this program, the Design Studio at the Walker has produced original posters that are given away for free.
Gathered here are a small selection of this annual poster tradition. Whether formal exploration or a snapshot of design at the time, these posters trace the evolution of graphic design at the Walker and throughout the globe.
